Q: I am unable to afford a ticket to PCOS CON but I would really like to attend. How can I participate?
With the help from Sponsors and Donations, PCOS Awareness Association is offering a PCOS CON Grant for a select few that are unable to afford a ticket to the event. APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
Q: Are there age restrictions?
So that PCOS CON is educational and enjoyable for all, we ask that attendees be over 10 years old. There will not be childcare onsite. You will need to arrange your own childcare.
Q: Do Medical Professionals receive CME or CEU credits for their participation and attendance?
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Virginia School of Medicine and PCOS Awareness Association. The University of Virginia School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Virginia School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 9.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.TM Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The University of Virginia School of Nursing Continuing Education (SONCE) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The University of Virginia SONCE awards 9.5 contact hours for nurses who participate in this educational activity and complete the post activity evaluation.
The University of Virginia School of Medicine and/or The University of Virginia School of Nursing Continuing Education, as accredited provider(s), awards 9.5 hours of participation to a participant who successfully completes this educational activity. Q: Are the ticket prices going to change?
Yes, As we get closer to the event, ticket prices will increase so get your tickets early. We will also offer discounts throughout the year. Please be sure to join the mailing list (bottom of page) so that you may receive discount codes when they are offered.

Q: During the break out sessions, is the same information provided in the Medical and Cyster sessions?
The information during parallel sessions (Medical/Cyster) will be not be exactly the same but will be within the same topic. Medical Sessions are geared towards medical professional education so that they may receive Continuing Medical Education credits. Cyster Sessions are geared toward the patient and their support systems.
Will the meals provided during PCOS CON be PCOS Friendly?
YES! We are working very closely with the Tysons Hilton to make every meal PCOS Friendly or provide PCOS Friendly options.
Q: What is the dress code?
We want you to be comfortable and ready to learn! There is no dress code for the Day Sessions. If you plan on joining our morning exercise activities, we ask that you wear comfortable active wear. For our 80’s/90’s Teal Party, please wear your best 80’s/90’s Teal outfit and be ready to dance. The Reveal the Teal Gala is a black tie event and requires formal attire.
Q: How is the parking?
The Hilton Tyson’s Corner has plenty of free parking.
Q: Is there Public Transportation/ Metro?
Absolutely! Take the complimentary shuttle to/from the hotel or enjoy a short stroll to the Silver Line station .
